DTZ

For DTZ in Newcastle

We were recommended to DTZ while they were searching for a solution for their new offices at Central Square. The brief was for something visually arresting, comfortable and inviting while retaining a cool, edgy and sophisticated appearance. They were also keen for it to be unmistakably bespoke to their space.

They were happy to explore a "futuristic executive airport lounge" theme with  minimal use of colour. The whole system, including the custom-made giant lamp, was designed to appear to 'hug' the coffee table, the benches becoming a pair of arms appearing to reach out creating a comfortable and welcoming environment.

Possibly the neatest and most bespoke feature is the glass wall cutting right through the piece, dissecting it and bringing part of the reception into the main working area, gently connecting the two rooms.
