We were recommended to DTZ while they were searching for a solution for their new offices at Central Square. The brief was for something visualy arresting, comfortable and inviting, while retaining a cool, edgy and sophisticated appearance. They were also keen for it to be unmistakably bespoke to their space.

They were happy to explore a "futuristic executive airport lounge" theme with a minimal use of colour. The whole system, including the custom made giant lamp, was designed to appear to 'hug' the coffee table, the benches becoming a pair of arms appearing to reach out creating a comfortable and welcoming environment.

Possibly the neatest and most bespoke feature is the glass wall cutting right throught the piece, disecting it and bringing part of the reception in to the main working area, gently connecting the two rooms.

The giant lamp was quite an undertaking, it's difficult to get a sense of scale but it is massive!

We received a wonderfully warm testomonial and thanks, for which we are truly grateful. DTZ were a fantastic team to work with.

"Just a brief note to thank you and your team.

There is no doubt what you have created is against the brief ā€“ in many ways, the piece has exceeded the brief given the budget we were working on. A wonderful piece of furniture which is already a talking point.

It has been a pleasure to deal with a group with such passion and creativity ā€“ two values which Iā€™m quite sure will ensure your business and order book will go from strength to strength.

At the appropriate time and as part of any company profile raising you may be considering, I would be happy to support with contacts from our industry who may be interested in your offer.

Many thanks again, and I do hope we will get the chance to work again.

Best wishes,

Tony Hordon,

Senior Director"
